Frequently Asked Questions

How should beginners get started in the stock market?

Firstly, beginners should understand the difference between investing and trading.

Investing is all about finding high-quality stocks, mutual funds or indexes and committing to them for the long run. Trading, on the other hand, is about taking advantage of short-term market movements.

In our experience, investing is much easier to do and is more suitable for the majority of the population. Trading is not everybody’s cup of tea and that is clear from the recent study done by SEBI (the stock market regulator).

Therefore, if you are a beginner, focus on becoming a successful, long-term investor.
